Actually, I find that being socially awkward works in my favor. It weeds out a lot of the jerks and scammers rather quickly since I am on high alert anyway. It's too bad that there are so many of them.

That's a tall order to fill my friend. I have two kids myself and I take care of my 87 year old father who resides with us. I work full-time because there are bills to pay and mouths to feed. When I come home there are also stalls that need cleaning and horses that need to be fed. Oh and let's not forget about dinner and everything to do with the house too. Dude, the welfare of MY children is my responsibility. I help with homework, go to parent teacher conferences, take them to the doctor, and do what needs to be done for them. I am their parent.

It was a pretty messy storm. That wind was wicked. It tossed my gas grill over and took shingles off of my roof. I am grateful that it didn't do more damage, it could have been a lot worse. There are a lot of trees by my house and by my barn. Glad that you made it out okay too.

My power only flickered and came right back on. There were parts of town that went out. The high school that my son goes to had to cancel school because they were without power. We had quite a few roads that were closed because of downed wires or trees that fell. How about in your area?

Most of us 'normal' people do have a lot of love to give and also haven't found the right one to shower with that affection as of yet. Anyone can hide behind their screen or device; say or be anyone that they want and that is where people like myself come to question everyone that comes to my inbox. Certainly, I have had my share of grand conversations with people. Not everyone is bad but I still filter and question since there are so many that are.

You are not going mad. The truly maddening part is that we have to filter through all of the scammers and the people that are so far away. Once you do all of that....um well.....I guess time will tell.

Don't worry you are completely normal. I get the same thing. There just happens to be a lot of con and scam people out there. It is one of the fun perks of virtual dating world I suppose.

I will always believe that there is something better out there for me. If that is deemed naive, then so be it. I have been married and I have been divorced, I wouldn't change any of it. All of the experiences in my life have developed me into the person that I am today and I feel that I am better now than I have ever been. I am a fine wine and I am only getting better with age.
