many years have past, many memories last
Some we try to forget, others make us weep
it may be in a song, a smell, a shiny truck
A sound might wake it up, or even Folgers in your cup
but all these things we know, and loved, and hated so
has made us who we are, so never let them go

OOPS ! would someone please move this to "poems" for me please. Dennis

why, isn't the saying 'the jokes on us'?

I've had the same question for months...
if a woman who has had a double mascetomy, looks good otherwise, should she be able to go topless in a bathingsuit? If not, why not?

I met a friend. Told them in the depths of Feb. that wished I was a bear. I could sleep all winter, and anyone who upset me i could just snarl at and swipe my claws, not hurting them -just a scare. 4 months later, this friend and I hit the bear on rt. 80 right out of Penn. He jumped. I stayed, 159 ft until the bike stopped. 3 skull fractures later, I spent 1/2 that winter and all of the next 2 years relearning how to do things. Walk (balance), talk (etc) and other things. I worked my behind off at cog. rehab, then just when thought things had evened out, got breast cancer. The story goes on, the 3rd chapter needs revision and the one am workintg on now, am working on now.laugh

I work daily with the residentially displaced as one calls it, and beleive me, only about 10% are grubbing money for substance. And you'd be surprised t how many are homeless, they dress just like you and me because they are.

That must be a character trait, as I've seen in men who are homeless the entitlement air. Like we owe them. I just ignore them for the most part.

Be careful to makesure you put lots of sunblock on all the time when ever they're exposed or the colours will fade. The black lines will turn blue/green etc.
I have one on my missing breast.laugh
