What were you in.........
i was the "not a high school cliche" kid.
i went to school for the purpose of learning something and i got out at the end of the day. most of the people my age bored and annoyed me with their ...high-schooliness. |

If you...
the word "believer" is a term, in the logical sense, which means someone who believes something. therefore if you believe in god, you're a believer. if you believe in the tooth fairy, you are a believer. if you believe in the spaghetti monster, you're a believer.
if you however mean to ask if you're a believer by christian standards then i'd agree that you should ask this question in the christian forums for more favourable answers.

the main good thing about religion is that it allows people to be kept on a tight rein. it controls the mind and behaviour of the masses. this was the objective.
don't get me wrong...you could get people to do the good stuff like love your neighbour etc... but you could also get people to do stuff like the spanish inquisition. surrendering control of how to discern what is right and what is wrong or how to behave could have positive or negative outcomes. if i were a queen back in the day i'd probably see the good in that too. in fact, if i ever fall on hard times i know a surefire way of making a quick buck would be to play off the naivete of the religious by becoming a "religious leader"

yea... just think how many people starved and died being naively misled into giving up their earnings for "god" so the ruling classes can live in such opulence. |

what an interestng and different way you've gone about it...
i prefer exclusivity for various reasons, among them is that any possible insecurities either of us may have might fester and magnify over time, the threat of STDs in this day and age, and the "specialness" i want to feel as being his one and only and vice versa
