Spend sometime in 'Games' then 'Well wishes', usually late with my congrats, probably spending too much time in 'games', Then 'dating and relationships' to see what's happening.

Best place for a first date/meet and greet is a cafe, a chat over coffee will decide if you want to date each other, and a quick retreat if you don't. Meeting in a hotel for coffee would not be my choice for a first date/meet and greet, that is more a place for meeting up with family and existing friends in my opinion. So, I have no stories to tell. Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the reply. I seem to remember we use to be able to include a photo from our own pc, or profile pictures,that was many years ago now. When some members had an Avatar as profile picture. I miss those. Thanks again.

Hello. Let me ask about something that I have talked about with my mother, and also my best friend. And they didn't agree. But they still support me. Of course they know the reason why I decided to do that. I hope you guys here can give me some advice? Which will help me to keep realizing it or not. I recently came across the term gamophobia. Now that I think about it, I think I experienced that. So I'm thinking about adopting a child, or just doing it with someone. Or let's say I want to have children without having to get married. And of course I have estimated the good and bad for my actions. But if I think about it. Let's say I get married and have kids and then we get divorced. Then I would end up to being a single parent. Regardless of whether my ex-husband will be responsible for our child or not. What I think about the most. Do you have the heart to let a child not have a father figure, which I also experienced in my life. And should I just be alone until the end of my life? You have family, your mother seems to have given you good advice, I think maybe loneliness is playing a part here. I have the impression you have concern about "being left on the shelf" for the want of a better expression. Never having a partner and family of your own. At your age mid-twenties that is a bit too soon in my opinion for having those kind of thoughts. You have decided to join a dating site, Mingle2, which shows you are interested in finding a partner, I would suggest you join a few more in your own country and near your home town for more local people. Tell people more about you in your profile, what you do and enjoy doing, interests, sports, travel, music, tv programs, films, all general stuff describing you, be positive, and do not mention your past fears and phobias, which we all have from time to time. Try and socialise more in the real world, and accept that offer of a date even if you are not to sure, date in the daytime in town where there are lots of people and remain safe until you know them better, he could just be the one for you. Good luck in your search.
