i love this line: (was in the fight scene)
she means it in the context of the scene
he asks her to have an unemotional, rational discussion
and she is offended by his lack of apathy just because she has emotions

Not sure of which movie it is but the guy in this case is correct.

Having said that, there is nothing wrong with expressing emotion, just not when it needs to be in a rational/important issue/decision.

When people get emotional about something their ability to make rational decisions/arguments/etc has a very strong tendency to fail. Hence why you often have to calm someone down emotionally before any sort of progress can be made.

TL;DR Listen to our brains, our hearts are dumb.

Well it's not at all hard to take a deep breath and state how you feel from your heart. Your brain will only give generalizing statements.

I happen to view the opposite, the heart is smart. The brain is too confined and complex an organ that defies a sense of personal connection to human beings. The heart is the center of how we react and respond, not the brain.

I can see where you are coming from.

Think of the people who rush off and marry too quickly only to divorce a short time later. Or the crimes where someone in a relationship gets cheated on, only to murder in a state of emotion insanity. Both extreme examples of course but they happen all to often.

Politicians have been using the method of invoking strong emotions from people like fear or the desire to help those in need to get elected for ages.
Even salesmen have been working peoples emotions for ages to get the sale.

As a pale blonde male with blue eyes I can say that it is not the same.

As for why, I think it had something to with sexual selection. We blondes stand out more from the "natural" brunette tones. Which in turn brings more attention from others and a better chance for a mate.

Then again, I read that on the Internet and I could just be regurgitating BS.
I read that on the Internet too. Just wondering why barbies ken has dark hair .. Clearly they didnt do their research

I think it just has to do with brunettes being the dominate tone in humans/animals. More relatable I guess? Probably why 98% of all the Hollywood actors are brown/dark haired and dark eyed.

Something like only 2% of the worlds population are us blondes.

yesterday night, i went to a posh club, a lot of models, and a lot of older guys trying to impress those girls.

i saw some really disturbing things last night. a girl looking 16 to me, and a man who could have been her grandpa.

what really seemed to help them was one thing: money!

Don't worry about those types. Let them gold dig all they want. Nothing more than a hollow shell of a relationship.

Get yourself a quality woman that cares for you as oppose to your wallet.

She could have a better education than me or make more money, wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

No sense of humour is a big red flag.

Smokers/Drug users is also a flag. Drinking I can...tolerate in moderation and if she is responsible while doing it. (I don't expect my significant other to follow my lifestyle choices of no smoking/drugs/alcohol so I have to compromise on something)

Awesome! talk about focus

I guess you could say he took them all on single handedly.

I agree. I don't understand the people who run the 800 and 1500 metre races. When really all that people really care about is the 100 and 200 metres.

Definitely and foreplay is fun.

If you've ever tried to go down a water slide that wasn't wet, you'll understand the importance of foreplay.
