A very long read but see what Bill did here:

http://www.blacklistednews.com/view.asp?ID=1310

Thank you again funlover as I found this at the other site by searching
for "Bill O'Reilly" at that site. Some good and some bad about Bill but
this is something I am truly interested in.

Do you know if there are more recent articles on the "hate bill" pushed
by Ted Kennedy? I remember hearing about it but don't remember when...
?????

Talk about the dems wanting to restrict FREE SPEECH!! Could it get any
worse than THAT????

Thanks again guys.

GREAT INFORMATIVE POSTS!

Good Morning Funlover - I went to the site you noted and read one
particular article about John Yoo. Very GOOD reporting albiet there is
opinion interjected to make the report more of a story. THAT is OK as
the reporter's opinions were a part of what the general public saw at
that time, presented by the general media.

Good reporting and a great site to add to my "favorites." I will be
visiting it often to read more articles.

Thanks!

Good Morning Massage,

It is sort of like I said on the other thread. Find one that you can
agree with MOSTLY. If the subject is politics, it is all OPINION, not
news. I did look and read all the links you provided and had to laugh
(albiet NOT at you and what you found, I am sure there is much more.)

When a personality is highly successful (i.e. popular), they have many
detractors and enemies.

It is a popularity contest and popularity is ALL it is. Sure Bill
O'Reilly leans so far right that left almost ceases to exist BUT many
find him highly entertaining. Of course, I don't agree with everything
he says but love the way he says it... LOL. I fall so far outside of
every scale on the politics gauge that no one would believe it, if they
saw it!

Being somewhat of a news junkie and watching lots of the stuff, I can
form opinions on what is presented, do my own research and finally come
to some conclusion on any given subject. If you don't get at least
three views nowadays you are shooting yourself in the foot. Because
every anchorman or(national or not)news program puts their own "spin" on
news stories.

Some folks LOOK for tidbits to base their beliefs on so they can be
right in their own minds. (I don't mean YOU, I mean anyone, everyone)
and it behooves us to be on the watch.

But how many will actually take your suggestion and read all the links?
I bet you will be able to count them (us)on one hand.

Have a great Tuesday dude!

Great post!!!

Communism has been alive and well in many, many countries for as long as
it has been around. France is loaded with communist party players and
so on and so on.

I do not believe the United States is loaded with communists but I would
guess you could not swing a dead cat at any party in Hollywood without
hitting a few...

Actually, I don't watch her as she bashes, flames people who she lied
too, to get them on her show. Just my opinion.

Only after the fact when everyone is talking bout something that
happened on her show or to one of her "victims" do I pay any attention
to her.

When I get online in the mornings I answer emails and read the news,
whatever interests me. In the past year I have noticed that AOL, Info
Week, CNN and ALL the rest have started with the ads BIG TIME,
interjecting commercials before I can view video interviews or even go
to an article I am wanting to read.

It suc*s too. If I wanted ads I would be watching more news on TV.
This is my personal PC, not a place for ads from corporations.

NOW, they are starting on games, read on...

Google Acquires In-Game Ad Company Adscape

The search engine is expected to integrate Adscape's technology with its
AdWords and AdSense programs.

Google on Friday said it had acquired in-game advertising company
Adscape Media for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition was first rumored
back in January 2007.

"[W]e think there is great value in video game advertising," Google
explained on its Web site. "As more and more people spend time playing
video games, we think we can create opportunities for advertisers to
reach their target audiences while maintaining a high quality, engaging
user experience."

An acquisition of Adscape could pay for itself relatively soon. The
in-game advertising market is poised for explosive growth, garnering
more than five times the current market value to reach $732 million by
2010, according to an April 2006, the Yankee Group estimate.

Presumably, Google will integrate the ability to buy in-game ads to its
online ad platforms (AdWords and AdSense), though Google said it had no
plans to announce at this time.

Google is not alone in its interest in in-game advertising. Last May,
Microsoft said it would acquire Massive Inc., another in-game
advertising company for nearly $200 million.

Google also announced another acquisition Friday: Gapminder's
Trendalyzer data visualization software and the developers behind it.
Terms of the acquisition and purchase price were not disclosed.

Good Morning ALL!

Coffee is ready! There is half a pot gone though...

It is supposed to get to around 70 here today in Kansas with a 40%
chance of thunderstorms sometime this afternoon.

If it wasn't for the thunderstorm part, it would be lovely later on...

All that was requested was an easy way to report threads/comments that
are "out of line" without copying/pasteing and going to a specific
profile to report them.

Mike and VC would be the ones to make the decisions on what would be
grounds for banning. The entire thing is up to them. Since I have been
here I have seen several women who quit the site, under extreme duress,
who probably felt they had no choice.

Being able to REPORT is the one coure of action that should be taken by
members, the rest is up to the owners. Having been in this situation
before, I know what to look for but not eveyone has had those
experiences so all one can do is try to help out the innocent victims by
reporting the incidents.

Mike and VC ask for our opinions in an open forum so going there with
any request is certainly the right thing to do, if you have problems or
see a pattern emerging.

It would make life easier if the reporting was easier.
Easy peasy. Right?

Thanks eveyone for your feedback, I am sure it will be greatly
appreciated. Well, I appreciate it anyhousen!

You all have a great Sundy, what's left of it.

Good Morning ALL,

It has been requested in the feeback area that perhaps it would be a
good idea to have a "report abuse" button on the threads and comments so
it would be EASY to report things without having to compile a report and
go to someone's profile to place a report.

This should not restrict anyone's "freedom of speech" as has already
been noted. It would give us all a way to report abuse, flaming or
unacceptable content easily and effectively without our names and pics
showing up in someone's profile that we have visited them.

This would also give the majority of members some input if they do not
want to visit the profile of someone who is already flaming other
members and do not want the visibility of posting. SEE?

This is a GENERAL question and not a question about specifics. ONLY
about a report abuse or content button.

Let's have a show of hands and opinions. Whaddaya think?

What I do in private is my business and I keep that private.

My thoughts on people posting dirty stuff in a public forum can be read
in the feed back section.

This is a public forum, try to be DECENT and not dirty...
