Good Morning ALL,

It has been requested in the feeback area that perhaps it would be a
good idea to have a "report abuse" button on the threads and comments so
it would be EASY to report things without having to compile a report and
go to someone's profile to place a report.

This should not restrict anyone's "freedom of speech" as has already
been noted. It would give us all a way to report abuse, flaming or
unacceptable content easily and effectively without our names and pics
showing up in someone's profile that we have visited them.

This would also give the majority of members some input if they do not
want to visit the profile of someone who is already flaming other
members and do not want the visibility of posting. SEE?

This is a GENERAL question and not a question about specifics. ONLY
about a report abuse or content button.

Let's have a show of hands and opinions. Whaddaya think?

Great ideal for sure if Van & Mike can do it might already be in there
plans I know they are working hard trying to get a lot of features for
us togethere and so far has done a great job in the time they have had
and the problems they have had to work through. At least with them we
know that we are being heard no like most sites do and never get back to
you they keep us updated very well with what is in the
workings.bigsmile

Verb -- It would save some time and allow the person doing the reporting
to avoid direct confrontation. I know of several instances in which
someone did NOT report because of fear of what the abuser (or the
abuser's friends, if the abuser got banned) would do afterwards.

So, I think this is a good idea.

Well, some of you have already seen my previous post on this subject, as
to the concerns that one person could possibly get another kicked off of
this site, because of just one person being offended. If this can be
done in such a way that it would just remove that thread and not the
person, OR, it would take several complaints in order to take
appropriate action, then I have no problem with it as I do not post much
here any, I like to read them mostly. Lets hope that Mike and Van will
use good judgment in their plans in relation to this problem. Dave

I'm for it, Mike & Van have shown EXCELENT judgement so far, I don't
expect that to change.
