It's been some years ago but I thought the hunters education was fine. At least what we have here in KS. I took the class even though I was Grandfathered out of it. I mean, why not?

Hunters story - uh, correction, loaders story:

Many years ago (many, many) I owned a bar and grill in Wichita, KS. We opened at 6:00 am and served breakfast to the third shift workers from Boeing and grunts from McConnell AFB.

This particular morn, a couple of fellows, middle aged, came in and one had a huge bandage covering his right hand and forearm up to his elbow. They had been in emergency at a hospital not far away. They came in for beer and not breakfast. The long faces (and bandage) made me ask, "Golly, what happened? Were you in an accident?" Both fellows were decked out in camo with field jackets (hunting gear). They were bleary eyed and had been up since way wee-er hours, you could tell.

The fellow without the bandage said they had been getting ready to go hunting and were re-loading shells that morning. Having done the same thing many times myself, I understood perfectly.

The fellow with the bandage said they were sitting at the kitchen table, all their stuff spread out and had an ashtray at the edge of of table and were smoking while loading (idiots).

The time for clean up came. While cleaning up the table, one of the fellows had scooped some spilled powder into his hand and dumped it in the ashtray. After clean up, the car was loaded and the pair were having that last cup of coffee at the same table.

...and a last cigarette before venturing out. When the bandaged man put his cigarette in the ashtray - WHOOSH!!!! The gun powder ignited and fire lit up their little kitchen. A trip to the emergency room insued. Badly burned and looking whipped the bandaged mand said (I swear) "It was me, I put the powder in the ashtray, not my friend here."

20 men fell off their barstools laughing their a**es off. The two fellows sat shaking their heads, still frowning and glancing at each other.

I don't stop in nearly as much as I used too.

It was fun for a while and a nice diversion from working online.

I have seen some pretty nasty stuff lately and that does not help my attitude for wanting to come in and say hi to anyone.

I want to stay on track here but it will be difficult. This guy needs to be in prison but he is not the only one. I believe that many people who give "lip service" support should be jailed too. For treason.

I agree with gardenforge.

"Once again, if you come here legally welcome to America, if you come here illegally get the hell out or be deported."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
It is very simple. Why complicate the ****ens out such a SIMPLE thing? I don't give a crap what country you (no specific YOU in mind)came from. THAT makes no difference. If you are in this country illegaly, you have already commited multiple crimes.
IF so many people leave their countries to live in the United States of America and leave their countries of origin behind they should be willing to at least take up SOME of the culture of their new CHOSEN home.
If people are looking for a new and better life here maybe they should be thinking of leaving the laws and some of the oppressive culture behind too.
The laws of other lands do not belong in the USA.
Likewise, some other cultures are not a good fit in the USA.
Easy Peasy.
My business credit card numbers and info was stolen. Several eroneous charges from Saudia Arabia showed up and citicards called and said "did you charge these items?" All the charges said "telephone". Nope, not me. I don't do business with any third world countries. Crap on a stick.
SO - closed the account and had a new card (new account) ups'd the next day. I cannot be without a credit card for my businesses as things are auto charged - many subscriptions, hosting accounts, registrations and like that.
I also purchased Russ's medical and personal supplies on that account so could not be without it for even one day. I make multiple charges each day.
I guess I was not paranoid after all. I knew something fishy was happening but did not know what. I am still not sure HOW they got the numbers.
Check your IE settings. Are you set up to "open in the same window"? If so, using tabbed browsing might be affected. ??
Have you checked here?
Internet Options
General Tab
...see what your settings are and change them if necessary.
"actually I put her in the same boat as Al Sharpton,
or Al Franken...
....publicity clowns..all of them...they add nothing
of substance to any real debate on the issues... "
I have not commented in here in a long time but do still check in. I have to agree with the two above statements and a few others I saw that were points on subject.
The real debate it "out there."
Thanks guys, this was driving me nutso. I looked around in yahoo groups
yesterday and found an indexing group there and joined. If I have
further questions about indexing I have a place to go with questions
(besides google) regarding these types of issues. I posted this over at
web shoppe wonders too but with less than 10 members (so far) I got zip
over there. LOL.
I do want to make that group go and grow so if anyone has a friend who
wants to join - please don't hesitate to offer...
THANKS spider and massage. I must be getting paranoid - duh.
Hello,
In trying to implement some changes at a clients site I am now
getting some funky-do stuff in google.
When I put the 'site:' and the website that I am checking into
google's search bar some of the resulting pages at the tail end of the
listings (on page 3) have this at the end:
/?M=A
or
/?S=A
or
/?D=A
or
/?N=A
and the last two entire listings look like this:
Index of /23playIndex of /23play. Name Last modified Size
Description. Parent Directory 04-May-2007 08:12 -. Apache/1.3.37
Server at www.example.biz Port 80.
www.example.biz/23play/?D=A - 1k - Supplemental Result - Cached -
I placed 'example' in where the actual website name should be. Some of
you will know what it is anyway. If you need to see the linstings, email
me here at JSH.
What does this mean? I have never seen this before at any of my
sites or clients sites.
Note: Only google returns these results. Yahoo, MSN, alltheweb and
altavista do not show the resulting "weird" listings.
Help please!
Over 1.5 million of "Thomas & Friends" train toys are recalled in the US
due to toxic levels of lead they contain which may result in poisoning
if digested. The toys were manufactured in China and sold in US shops
from 2005 till June 2007. If you remember pet food produced in China
already poisoned many American pets. Now it's the toxic toys for our
children.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oak Brook, Ill. -- The U.S. distributor of "Thomas & Friends" wooden toy
trains is recalling 1.5 million toys with lead-based paint, which is
toxic if ingested.

The trains, manufactured in China, were sold at U.S. toy stores and
other retailers from January 2005 through June 2007 for between $10 and
$70, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a news release.

No injuries have been reported, but RC2 Corp. of Oak Brook, Ill., and
the CPSC undertook the voluntary recall.

The toys included in the recall include wooden vehicles, buildings and
other train set components. The front of the package has the "Thomas &
Friends Wooden Railway" logo in the upper left corner. A manufacturing
code may be located on the bottom of the product or inside the battery
cover.

Toys marked "WJ" or "AZ" in the codes are not part of the recall, CPSC
said.

Consumers should take the recalled toys from young children immediately
and contact RC2 Corp. for a replacement.

OH - I do know the asp.net was auto added by ms and was not malicious
but I DON't need or want it. Plus, it was only on the secondary account.

I finally took the time to really look at my computer again this
morning.

I had another asp.net user added onto the secondary user account I
created a couple of months ago. I created it to get FF to run, remember
that? lol. So, I guess it could be either one of the two, FF or the
google updater where the creepo got in. geeze a loo.

SO, I deleted the account and checked and reset a lot of the privacy and
security items on my computer, changed the user account passwords and
all that.

There is one thing that is bothering me though and I don't know what to
do about it, exactly. The Startup folder that is a windows system folder
appeared on my desktop yesterday (out of the blue). I assume my not so
friendly hacker placed it there and I am not sure where to move it back
to. I don't pay a lot of attention to system folders, duh.

Have any suggestions?

Hiya netuser,
Yes, it is FF for Windows but I have it set up under another user name.

I really do not know how to handle this problem. Any ideas?
