As a "nubee", I'm not sure of all that has been stated before this thread, so i am not in a position to comment on what is being talked about here by all concerned. But I do find the seriousness and humor both delightful so far.
I am a deist - a most basic one, and really don't even like that term since it would tend to indicate I'm part of a movement - which I'm not. I have no ties or affiliations to any religious or non religious sect what so ever - and am not looking to become a part of any sectarian movement at anytime in my life. Maybe the term truist would be a better description of my logical beliefs. If anyone would like to know them i will continue to post - if not i understand. sincerely, Tribo

I am a deist - a most basic one, and really don't even like that term since it would tend to indicate I'm part of a movement - which I'm not. I have no ties or affiliations to any religious or non religious sect what so ever - and am not looking to become a part of any sectarian movement at anytime in my life. I am not agnostic because I have no doubt that there is not a god in the sense of most religions and yet I have been told I am not an atheist because I believe in the life spirit of all of us, so I have no clue what I am.  Your views are always welcome. As are everyones here. Things can get heated in these threads but we all seem to come back after a cool down and do okay. Hope you enjoy the site
