You know it could help you weed out those sort of guys, if you made mention of the fact you don't want someone looking for an intimate encounter. Be specific about what you want and what you don't.

these guys are like that to most girls here, or at least that's what i hear from other women here, so they didn't want to make you feel left out. they wanted you to know that there was still sleaze in the world, and that's how they do it.....by e-mail...

This is true. From your start page, go to settings, & "limit who can send you mail" This may help weed out some of the jerks.
