Aaahhhh, the plumber who was supposed to be here between 8:00 and 10:am
this morning, bugged out. He called and said he had another job that he
needed to do first as it was supposed to rain and he wanted to get that
one done before coming here as it was an outside job and mine is an
inside job.

So, I said FINE (and dandy) when do you expect to be done there? OH,
let's see uh, noon to 4:00 or there abouts. He said he would call my
around 2ish. I still have an hour before he is supposed to callish. I
was up early, cleaned out all the stuff from under the kitchen sink,
scoured both sinks and was ready and waiting before 8:00 am. I have been
walking aroud the boxes of supplies all day and even ran some errands in
there.

It has not stormed as expected but did rain a tad, It rained for about 5
minutes at noon when I was getting out of my auto to go into the Lowe's
after having to park out in the south fourty.

Anyone know a reliable plumber who can be somewhere when he says he
will, get to work straight away and be done inside an hour? Just
asking...

ah, what i would do is get a plumbing book, and do it yourself. send me
a ticket, and i will fly out, take it apart for you, but you put it back
together.

I do most all of my plumbing but this was a new garbage disposal
installation. I cannot live without my garbage disposal!!!! YIKES!!

Well, he DID show up and was quite quick about the job, nice kid, knew
what he was doing too...

I do not have the strength it takes for this kind of work, I do the rest
though...

Thanks everyone, this was FUN! lol.

Hey are plumbers the same as bug exterminators? I once had an
exterminator come to my house in San Diego to ya know...kill the bugs,
and so he shows up in his bug suit, and I say, kiddingly what do ya have
under your suit, and he unzipped the thing, and showed me. I almost
fainted. And, I never asked that question again but I always wondered if
a plumber would do the same thing.

Verb, I hear those Watergate guys are pretty good, as long as they don't
have to take care of the paperwork.

I don't know who's around your area, but Sears is pretty good and
reliable. So is ARS if you have them. If his crack is showing while he
works, he's a keeper.
