When we talk about "they" said this or "they" think that... who the heck ARE "they?" " They " are the nameless, faceless people that nearly everyone is guilty of using as a scapegoat. People say that " they " say something, when in reality, it's something that the person himself/herself actually feels or thinks or believes. Any relation to "not me" and "I don't know"? Those would be the ones. LOL |

Why is it some people don't know how to pump gas? Hmmm...y'all are giving me some questions that have required me to give somewhat serious answers. LOL Why don't some know how to pump gas?? Have you ever heard the phrase " The dumbing down of America "?? You see it every day. People who can't pump gas. People who come here and make out profiles that look like they were written by a third grader. Not even making an attempt to sound literate. The main thing, in my opinion, is that people stopped caring and started allowing things to be acceptable in society that weren't just a short time ago. We have become lazy. The school systems are all screwed up. Kids are being drugged by the thousands by doctors who, rather than actually pay attention to what a child needs, just chalk up learning problems to ADD or ADHD ( some kids actually DO have these conditions ) and prescribe any number of drugs. The parents are just as complicit in this, so I am not trying to say that they aren't at fault as well. A lot of the " learning disabilities " are based in the parent's inaction in teaching their kids self discipline. * Disclaimer * The ideas put forth here are my own opinion only |

It's pretty sad to see.
I am just glad that when I was a kid, there really wasn't such a thing as ADD or ADHD. If there had been...I would have been drugged out of my mind like some kids these days are. |
