Every year my daughter has an MRI of her brain because of a genetic condition she has. Every year I get an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach thinking this will be the year a tumor forms. So far for the past 10 years all has been fine. Today is the day for this year. Luckily, we always get to see the Neurosurgeon immediately after the test and get results. No waiting which is wonderful!
Later today hopefully I can report we are all clear for another year.....but for now I'm nervous. |

Thank you so much. She absolutely loves going to the hospital, they always make such a fuss over her. She'll even pretend to be sick and when I ask her if I should take her to the hospital she says "YES".....hehe. Silly kid, at least she's not nervous like mom is!

Thanks to all of you sooooo much, your kindness does not go unappreciated. It was a long exhausting day. There was a mixup over diagnoses and they were going to try to refuse the test until my daughter had another sleep study done. After many phone calls and insistence from the Mamma Bear (that's me!) we finally got it done and got results. Things are A-OK and nothing has changed since last year.
 After the trip home through rush hour traffic she fell asleep again almost as soon as her head hit the pillow. Thanks again, you all are the greatest! |
