Topic: Not receiving message notifications to my personal Email A/C

I have checked "yes" in my mail settings to message notifications, etc. I was receiving them when I was on "Just Say Hi". I think I received them the first week it changed to Mingles2. Then it stopped. My Outlook Express has no spam box and my email address is correct. Does the fact that I'm on the stealth setting matter?

I know that all of my Mingle notifications have begun to come in my spam for some reason

Hi - I don't have a spam filter. Are you on stealth mode?

Hi, SweetMaryann. The fact that you have Stealth mode turned on should not make a difference. Have you made any changes to your Outlook Express recently? I'm not too familiar with that program, but I would suggest checking its settings to make sure that mails from us are not being blocked in some way.

Charles, I haven't touched my settings in Outlook Express. When I was on Just Say Hi, notifications were coming in. For some reason, once it became Mingles2,the notifications stopped. I also have no spam filter in Outlook Express. Any other ideas?

Are you one a local network at work or something? In that case, I would check with your network administrator to see if they are filtering our emails out.

I have a personal PC. I still receive email notifications from another site, which I haven't used lately, yet Mingles2 I don't receive any.

You may want to check with your ISP, but I can't see why they would block our emails.

If that does not pan out, then I would suggest changing your email address to another one and then back. This might be worth trying before contacting your ISP, actually.

Hi menoo,

The notification system seems to be functioning normally. Have you enabled notifications on your mail settings page? and also, have you made any changes regarding your email addy?

You can update those settings on the mail settings page

I've been having the same problem for about four months, and I've changed nothing on my Mingle settings, or my ISP settings. One day, I just stopped getting the notifications in my personal e-mail, and I seem to recall it being before New Year's.

Ok,

Try this, guys.

clear cache and cookies, go to mail settings, de-select mail options. Log out of Mingle2, log back in, and enable mail settings.

I can't promise this will work, but it has worked in the past.

I have all three boxes checked in the mail notification area of my profile, yet I've never received any email notifications on my personal email address. Anyone have a solution for this?

Hi, originunknwn. My first suggestion would be to check any spam or bulk mail folders. If that doesn't lead to a solution, then check to see that our domain is not being blocked by any settings on your end.

checked all that already when I saw the previous suggestions to do this. stil doesn't work. oh well.
