Well I asked that question to my grandfather once and he said when he was a fighter pilot in WWII he saw a immense round object fly in front of him for a few seconds quickly. Almost made him crash his plane
At the moment this happened he said to the object " U Fxxxck Off U.F.O. Have a great day

Im in the same boat as everyone else on this topic and I dont know what the hell all of the reports are. Some of them are inexplicable even to this day. Many have probable or likely root causes however such as weather balloons or military aircraft that is unusual in appearance or stealth design used for training or experimental purposes.
The sightings that really concern me are ones reported by commercial pilots or people that fly planes. I dated a commercial pilot for a period of time and he had some stories of sightings that were quite unnerving.The other issue is that they are backed by air traffic control reports.  |

i believe they are out there but sometimes planes and new military craft can be confused for a UFO like in the incedent when people saw the stealth bomber they thought it was a UFO AND SUPRISINGLY THE MILITARY WANTED PEOPLE TO BELIEVE they were UFOs so other countries did not know about the new craft.
