What does love mean to you?

Everything!! Someone to share life with, including the bad times!!

I'm kidding ya goofy reflector. Love means sharing and giving selflessly to others in all aspects of life. Ya either got it inside you or you don't.

The love I have for myself is the most valuable thing I own
If I find it with someone else some day, I can give it more responsibly because I have it for myself.

It sure isn't what those two little naked cartoon characters on the daily planner calendar say it is- "LOVE IS".....

to me it means , taking the good with the bad, having the patience to work through any problems you may have in yourself or the person your with , the compassion to understand what someone is going through, the time to listen, the trust to speak , and the energy it takes to make it work

Hmmmmmmmm...love. My grandmother, rest her soul, tried for years to explain it to me. She went through hard times- depression era- raised 13 kids. She tried to feed the world. She showed her love by feeding everyone- and I mean everyone. Noone ever had an empty tummy around my grandma. She was the cook at the high school for 47 years. Got up at 5 every morning. Fresh made bread and biscuits every day. Wonderful meals. When she retired- she continued cooking for everyone. Huge family get together dinners. Boy I miss them. She passed away in her sleep. On that morning of discovery she had baked 3 pies and they were out cooling on the porch. One of them was for me. I realized in that moment as I had me a slice of that pie what grandma was trying to explain to me about loving yourself, and everyone, and sharing selflessly to the world.

Enjoying New Years Eve

It's everything to me. To know that someone will be there for you through thick and thin and that you will always be there for them. I would do anything for it.

Since the day my grandmother passed I changed and matured. I've discovered and seen love manifest itself in the most unusual ways. I give of myself more freely now. I find myself involved with the most unusual things from volunteering my time to charities, helping underpriveledged children, and just taking the time to help others in need. Wanna know what love is? Its a creepy ugly old longhairbiker sitting around reading the classified section of the newspaper. Then seeing a used wheelchair in the classifieds for 30 bucks that's new and barely used. Then buying it, picking it up, packaging it up, and sending it to the augustinian missionaries who give it to a needy child who will never walk but now will have some mobility in their life. That smile on that childs face is love.

Trust, respect, friendship, compassion, understanding, and commitment.

What is love? Its an creepy ugly old longhairbiker giving an elderly veteran a ride to the VA hospital to pick up his medication because noone else seems to have the time. The love is in that elderly mans face.

Love is when a creepy ugly old longhairbiker is really there to listen to a freind who is down and show compassion and understanding.
