i have a woman that is 20 year's older then me and her friend i know well want's me to go out with her and maybe move in with her i really don't mind the moving in, but dating and more i really don't think it's going to go any further with this one.

I have numerous criteria re: who I will and will not date; but age, per se, is not one of them. I will say that, when I was younger (16-24 or so), I tended to date mostly older women -- but as I've gotten older, I've gone more the other way. But that's more a reflection of my discovering what works and doesn't work for me, over time. It isn't really about "age" so much as it is about lifestyle and conformity (or lack thereof).

but in all actuality each opportunity is judged individually. there are some younger women who are very mature and some older women that are immature and don't have their sh1t together at all.

Age is just a number once you are matched mentally.

Today i was talking to my female friend about the topic and she said she prefer dating 2o yrs younger, when asked why she said she understand them better.

I've found that it's not only age but maturity as well. Some out there are quite immature despite their "mature" ages. If nothing else, a person's maturity (or lack thereof) can be as big a deterrent.

This is really a serious issue with me.
I'm 55 and feel much younger than my age, however, dating men 10 years younger than myself feels kinda creepy to me. I am not usually attracted to men my age...and they to me...so that leaves me little choices in the dating arena...Help!

to a certain extent i believe it does. its not all about maturity because some young people are very mature. as well as some older folk like to live their lives like that of a young adult. life experiences i believe is what makes the difference.
