I'll probably get boo'd for this but..as far as I am concerned...you cannot fall in love online...its your own mind (fantasy) because it is wanted by us all...but in reality...I believe that it takes a long time, alot of work, and some time together, face to face....to really fall in love....that being said....ok girls kick my butt

I'm with ya. It's all about a fantasy image and expectations you build up. People who have lusty strong feelings for each other online can easily confuse them for love.

Reality is almost invariably different. Not necessarily worse, just different. I've seen hundreds of online "love stories" come crashing down because of fantasy images and unrealistic expectations. It's the nature of the beast.

You fall in love with a concept. By concept i mean you fall in love with what you think a person is, what you want them to be in your mind. Is this truely love? For some people it's a type of love.. and often enough to try and build something on.

As far as being "true love", doubtful... most times you are just setting yourself up for heartbreak when "this real person" destorys what your mind has created. Best to keep your feelings in check till you have real time to spend with this person.

I know, i know, distances.. distances blah blah blah.. if it's truely love, do you think distance will keep two people apart? Till then, best to keep some control of your feelings and settle for caring about that person.

Anything is possible. It's not likely though, but entirely possible.

I believe you can feel love to some extent... but not the full deep "true love" if you will... of an intimate(not neccesarily physical) relationship where you can interact in person with one another.

Just isn't the same. to me speaking with someone is deeper and much more personal than a phone call and even more so than an e-mail.
