A relationship that cannot adapt to meet the needs of the two people in it is a dead relationship! Adaptation comes from BOTH halves!

To have sex cut off from you like that is absolutely cold and it is immature and self interested and self indulging to expect the other half of their relationship to give something like sex up utterly because fate took a nasty turn on them.

I think this is one of the questions that defines how hypocritical relationships can be. Why should anyone want to take others down with them?

I think a good way to think of this from the perspective of the debilitated person is this, do I make my other half miserable with my personal values and inability to fulfill them or do I order them to live their life to fulfill themselves because mine has run its course (as defined by an act of fate ie, cancer, organ failure, funky tropical disease spread by green mosquitos in Borneo, or a horrible accident taking my Johnson off of me painfully)?

To me I think if I got to go out I want to do it gracefully!
