honesty is the best policy, but do it as gently as you can. Just say look I like you as a friend but nothing more theres no sparks, and I would like to keep you as a friend but if not then I understand

How do you tell someone that you like (as a non-sexual friend) that you only want to be friends when they want to be more? Do you: 1. Bluntly lay it out and hope you can still be friends? 2. Let them down easy? 3. Keep it the same and hope hey get the hint? 4. Cut & run? I just tell them to read my profile. That pretty much automatically excludes everybody. Plus, it's so long that they may forget who I am before they're done reading it.
