Going for a walk in the park always works. Geocaching. Dollar theatres.

Are we talking broke, in between jobs or overspent the budget?

That's all doable. Road trips, camping, much fun.

However if you're broke, cause you're to lazy to keep a job... might be wise to stay out of the dating scene for a bit. Not many are going to want to put up with that long-term.

It can definitely be done. Just get creative.

a tour of commercial art galleries

picnics in the park or the livingroom

cooking a meal together

snuggled up watching a movie or old Seinfeld episodes

roller blading, bike rides, walks

camping

window shopping

little bistro's or outdoor cafe's

we have free music in the park pretty much every night in the summer ... or live music in pubs or the Blues club for a $5 cover -

Wandering around historic districts looking at the architecture

Day trips to parks or a neighbouring town or just to see the scenery

art gatherings, poetry readings, jam sessions

body paint

There are a zillion things to do that are easy on the bank account...

I don't always have a lot of money but I am never broke(n)

Go out with rich women, or go fishing and have a fish dinner afterwards, or plant a vegetable garden and promise her a really big salad in six months.

Save up until you can enjoy yourself, or you'll be concerned during the date. Your confidence will be low and women smell that like a bee drawn to pollen.

There have been lots of good suggestions in this thread about dating while low on money. There are tons of things to do that you don't have to save up a lot of money for.

Sure, but women in general want a financially secure man. Broke dates are fine AFTER the relationship is established.

As long as he can take care of his own bills, I don't care what he spends on dates.

And stay away from the high-maintenance chicks! They'll drain whatever amount of money you have left in your possession in NO time!

I think there is a difference between high maintenance chicks and gold diggin chicks. I consider myself high maintenance but do not expect anyone else to pay for it. I also enjoy the simple, free pleasures of life..riding bikes in the park, museums, cooking meals together at home, rides in the country, fairs, free outdoor music venues, etc.
