to be turned down is but recieving wisdom and direction and guidence from the entire cosmos and universe itself???

no one is turned down at all, rather only guided to and kept for, what truely see all that it is, and what thing that see this in anything, can walk away???

the wise women know, if a man turn her down, she has been spared much grief???

Yeah...What he said happy

'what he said'???

the only words in the universe that matter are the ones self actually believe???

if self does not believe it, there is a damn good perfect reason it does not???

the reason be the motive, so the motive be the only tell of what is more, in all things in the universe???

who can live or be happy with any HIDDEN motive, so the greatest good is not some idea of good or kind or passion, but only all motive revealed and in plain site and then passion can never be interrupted???

what can find anything without hidden self agenda most as guide, unless self hide not it's own, then it can see clean thru any hidden ulterior motive???

there is only but one happiness for a women, to not want a man for happiness or approval or validation of herself in anyway???

a women only comes to love the man that help her love all the one's she so desperately wishes to love more, never himself???

the only man a women will love forever, is the one that has learned to love all things in the world as equal and one, which be the only love that nothing in life can end???

So I email this person who came up on my mutual match recently. It was against my better judgment, but I thought what the hell, he was very local and noted on his profile he was somewhat shy. So I thought "ok, I'll send the first email".

I get a response back that says "I'm only looking for friends right now, I'm kind of hooked up with someone".

That's great, but just how do you get "hooked up" with someone in that short of time?

Why do people click yes on mutual match if they really have no intention of "matching" with you?

frustrated frustrated frustrated

Just learned my lesson yet again. Sigh.

Yeah. It just goes to show that you never can tell what the intentions are with people nowadays-

Example...

I went on a couple of dates with someone last week. The first one seemed to go off rather well, and that got me invited to another get-together at a dive bar/pool hall in town here.

Needless to say, the second date turned into complete waste-of-time- she (as far as I could tell) feigned being tired (which I kinda gathered because she'd perk up and be a "Chatty Cathy" with anyone else she be in talking range of) and at one point left me at the bar so she could chat with her friends, who were also there. It was at that point where I cut my losses and left- I just wasn't gonna go through the ignominy of being treated like a sub-human like that.

I even gave said date an easy-out by offering to leave if she wanted to be with her friends instead, to which she replied, "oh... no... everything's just fine...". Apparently not.

Of course, the rather odd thing is that this was the FOURTH time this had happened to me, with other dates. It's like I keep attracting the flakes or something.

So it just goes to show that you GOTTA keep yourself en garde at ALL times when it comes to this dating crap. There's no telling when something's gonna go totally sideways on you for no reason at all.

I understood you for once. It isn't necessarily the turning down that bothered me, it was the waste of effort to even email someone who wasn't really available or interested in the first place. Trust me, I get turned down or passed over enough......that part I can handle. But thank you for taking the time to respond, I know you meant well.

The computer does it as well. It is not only people matching. The site will mutual match you as well.

Sorry to hear that happened but as Pats says, match, click and date!

yeah I have noticed that I get a few of those " the site matches you".. and when I send an e mail its "what you talkin about Willis" I wish they wouldn't do that with the site doing the matching. it really sux

The whole "mutual match" thing is totally annoying. Not only does it not work, but it also makes for some rather awkward conversations, particularly when it comes to who matched whom. laugh
