I'll tell you the truth, but you may not like it.

You have to ask yourself what you have to offer the kind of man you want to date. Relationships are give and take. You both bring something to the table that the other needs.

Ask yourself why a man should date you insted of someone thinner or younger or whatever? When you have that answer and learn to exploit it you will have all the dates you can handle.

I'll be realistic...rarely is this the case, matter of fact as I've seen it is almost never the case. A lot of relationships are take, few give...maybe a bit give, but ultimately take.

Smiller, I will tell you what to do. Be happy with you, and you alone, just for now at this moment take in who you are and smile about it. And when the time comes, someone, somewhere, will be there and you will find each other...but not before you are happy with who you are. I still doubt it has anything to do with color or your weight, but that seems to be what you attach too. This tells me you are not confident, we as men adore confidence it is like a bright glow from someone when it exists...be happy with you first, then seek someone for whatever reason you will seek them.

What kind of screwed up relationships have you been involved in?

IMOH A good relationship would be mutually beneficial. The kind of relationship you disscribe is like that a mother has with her child. But, there are many people that don't know how to have any other kind of relationship except parent/child. I aviod those types.
