My aplogies if this topic has been covered before, but since I'm new on here...... For the men -- do you like a lady to make the first move? For the ladies -- would you or have you been first to ask a man out on a date?

I don't think I have ever asked one out. However, I have asked them to go hang out in whatever I was planning on doing.

I have tried to ask a man out, but it seems I must pick the wrong ones who don't appreciate that sort of thing.

I LOVE it when Ladies make the 1st move, its nice to not be the one in control all the time. I've only been asked out once & I had a great time with her on that date she was very spontainious. It'd be nice if more women asked out men.

I KNOW!!!!!!!! Don't we ever get past that? If I'm attracted to someone, it's so hard to be relaxed. But it the attraction is not there for me -- no problem. I think we never truly get past the teenage years.

The best relationship i ever had was thru this site and she contacted me first. I miss her, but i dont miss the lies told. Life happens.

I have not yet to be a man to be asked out on a date. I think in general there is still a stigma about women being to forward. (and some might think it is a act of desparation) I think personally it is okay for a woman to ask a man out on a date. Also, sometimes when you are friends with someone for a long time maybe it would be okay to ask her man what he would think about taking the friendship to the next level. I as culture and times change we will continue to see a swing toward this direction somewhat. I think it just depends on the persons values, upbringing, and personal situation.

Figure I would be lucky to have such a willing victim...figure stalking someone like me is a difficult job, one for someone that is either very stealthy...or someone that I'm alright with stalking me. Either or, it works out well between the both of us. I stalk her, she stalks me.
