I met a single woman online who lived a reasonable distance from me. She was somebody I was only interested in sexually. I let her know that, and she let me know that she also was interested in a sexual get together. Great!!!. We made an arrangement to hook up the following day. That night I had a dream. I was in a house that began to flood so I got out of the house and headed to higher ground. The flood was after me. People on lower ground were getting swallowed up. There I was frantically running up a hill from a flood of waters. And suddenly I heard a thump and knew the waters had stopped chasing me. I looked back at the waters and a huge mouth formed and said something like the following to me:... "Restore the soul of Him that you love." It is God I love, and He did let me know my decision disappointed Him. When I awoke I knew exactly what I had to do. I called it off with that woman, and now know "friends with benefits", "one night stands" - whatever you wanna call it is a no no. Save yourself for the one you love, and the one that loves you!

It seems odd that so many people would laugh at this decision of yours. I for one think you went the right way. Congratulations on learning to Listen :)

Not "laughing" at the decision, but rather the manner it which he reached it.

Why? Whether it's really God, or just his subconscious telling him something he already knows, why does it matter? The point is (and it's a good one) there is way to much that goes along with pre-marital sex. It's almost always a bad idea. His decision is a good one. Who cares how he reached it?

I personally don't place much stock in dreams. Whether it'd picking stocks, deciding which car to buy, or determining moral choices.

Dreams are generally manifestations of the subconsious. So, he was probably already feeling guilty about the arrangement. However, I would be the last person to down play a message from God/Universe/whatever you call it to occur in a dream.
