This whole scenario could've been completely avoided if the person in question had stayed away from the sauce to begin with.
But let's outraegeously tax cigarettes, because they kill so many people....

and drive home. While driving home you hit someone and kill them with your car. Whose responsibility is this? Yours? The casinos? Legally both are responsible. The last place that served the individual is responsible for not noticing if a client is too inebriated to drink further and should have been cut off. There are signs or indicators. AND The individual for not taking responsibilty for there own behaviors. |

Ah, yet another legal debate, we're arresting and sueing everybody for everything these days, aren't we? Look at the logic here. One could easily beat this system, by bar-hopping. You'd be surprised how many people do it. You go to the Sahara, have 3 drinks, leave, you go to the Riviera, have 3 drinks, leave, Treasure Island, 3 drinks, leave, then it's on to the Mirage, have 3 drinks, leave for the MGM, and on your way, you plow into the back of a car, killing 2 people and seriously injuring 2 others. Now who is responsible? Duh? You are!!! Not the last place that gave you 3 drinks, not the first, not all of them. You are!!!

I have zero pity or tolerance for drunk drivers. You can sleep it off in your car if you have to. Nevar evar...EVAR drink and drive....evar.

Afterall, they could have that heart attack on the way home and kill someone. Could I sue a dress shop for selling me a dress that I wore on a first date and never got asked for a 2nd date? How about a grocery or liquor store who sells the alcohol to the person who causes grief after drinking it? Interesting, eh? |

Ah, you like the Sahara too. Cool! Cheap, fun, good times, even though she's an older casino. I've had a lot of good memories there, but mostly at the Blackjack tables. The Sahara is a great place to mingle on the Strip. Lots of interesting people walk through the doors.
