I made my first batch of fudge the other day. I used a 'fudge kit'. so my question is....does making fudge from a 'kit' count as MAKING it yourself ? ohwell

Did the box say "Some assembly may be required"?

If it did, then it was expected, and your OK!

Well, I made "homemade" cinammon rolls on Saturday - all day Saturday... Needed something to do and I could say "made these myself". Well, I had made them before and they were great.. Now, after hours of mixing, rolling, waiting for dough to rise and forming and rising and baking, etc..., they turned out terrible. From now on, I am buying the dough and pull it apart and bake it and I am going to say "made it myself".. Less mess and trouble and, besides, who would know?

If you flipped the kitchen light on consider yourself a gourmet chef.
