I Actually prefer meeting over the phone or on the internet.

For me, I find that physical attraction makes people blind to many potential problems. If I meet someone sexy in person, I may get so wound up in their 'sexiness' that my mind overlooks their personal flaws. If I take time to have conversation with them and get to know them BEFORE seeing them, however, Im less likely to overlook these things.

Also, I actually find that being attracted to someone's personality can make them attractive to me physically as well. This happens when communication comes BEFORE physical attraction(at least, for me, it does).
