My grandparents only dated for 3 months and are now married for 50+ years. This is a rarity nowadays.

If there is communication and honesty and mutality and all that good stuff... it will happen when it happens... no rush... no worries!

Give it at least 4 years! Find out lots of things about the other half before tying the knot. Plus, don't let any cracks go unnoticed! Learn it from my dumb arse ok?! Give it at least 4 years!

I'm never getting married.

I was 27 when I got married and was dating him for 3 yrs..married 23yrs.

Met a man, and in 6 months we talked abut marriage.But thats all it was, add another 18 months on the relationship to 2 years.So glad it didn't happen...was a person that was all talk...why all talk guess...he had all the action.(also he had no job,major debts,didn't know which way he was going) Did I love the man for just him yes...but common sence took hold....

So what is the right time to get married?

When you both are on same page, your ducks are totally in order.Meaning you can handle a marriage with honesty, love,totally commitment,and you have talked about all your dreams what you want in a marriage and both have same goals for a marriage,Totally being responsible for each other.Have your plans, and goals started together.Trust me it is work and worth every min.

Also wanted to add: when you have 2 responsible people meaning you can totally take care of yourself financially.You now can have a responsible couple working together.Money can keep a relationship or distroy it.
