This should be fun.

What do you think the opposite sex is really looking for in a partner? And don't just say a jerk or a b!tch. Really give your views and thoughts about this.

It's been my experience that convenience is something the men I've dated are looking for. The fun and no responsibility thing flowerforyou I realize ALL men are not like that flowerforyou

We only want that until we find the right woman.

Someone to enjoy all aspects of life with, whether it's traveling, visiting a bookstore, hanging out with friends, enjoying new restaurants together, or trying something new in bed.

You think women want to be bought?

A man being rich is like a girl being pretty. You wouldn't marry her just because she's pretty, but my God, doesn't it help?"

An interesting double standard? They want a man to provide for and take care of them, and shower them with affection and gifts. When the shoe is on the other foot, it doesn't quite work out that way, does it? Seems some of our values are still trapped in the 18th century.

Too general. What does that "special someone" have to have?

Nope. In fact, it gets in the way.

What does that 'special someone' have to have?

Courage

When we allow another close enough ... when we look deeply into their eyes ... we come face-to-face with ourselves ...

... not everyone likes what they see ... not everyone can apply the salve to heal our deepest wounds ... not everyone is smart enough to know that anger is fear ... not everyone is strong enough to hold tight in the strongest of storms ... and not everyone can allow themselves to love in the deep places ...

We live in a superficial, throw away world with many chasing the euphoria of that beautiful chemical cocktail that happens in the brain when we are infatuated. In a few months when the chemistry normalizes, that is when the real relationship begins ... but many are already off to chase the next buzz ...
