So, basically, when he lost all that, he also pushed you away. Yes, that is normal for a person to do. But then again, if you really some one, why would you do that? Is it Pride? Or could it have been that he felt you would leave him through that tough time? I don't know, but when you said this, it made me wonder why this happens.
See, if I was with someone and something like that happened, I would need them to be their for me. I feel that shows a strong connection of love for someone when two people can survive tough times. To break it off and go it alone is very difficult, and apparently he hit bottom and came back up. That's great. I just wonder why he felt he couldn't (or shouldn't) have you around during that time. |

Congrats to you both, then! I hope you can work through the fact separation was ever necessary. Does seem odd that at a stressful time when people tend to pull together, he pulled away. That would make me a bit cautious.
I'll admit to having longings for certain ex's now and then. There was something really appealing about them in the first place, after all! Good luck! |

 I met this guy on this site....we dated...got engaged...and we just recently broke up ... He says he still loves me and misses me....If it was true love...do you think getting back together is worth it? Would you? Do you ever dream about getting back with an ex? Has there ever been a time where you couldn't sleep or stop thinking about the person? I'm going on a date tomorrow with him and I'll know if the fire is still there after one kiss! My last ex, hell fkng no!!!!!!!!! Hot as hell, but nuts, and EXTREMELY JEALOUS, I cannot describe to you the level of jealousy this girl has. One example at a family gathering she would start fights with relatives that would give me a hug!
