Having baggage is one thing.

Expecting someone else to carry it for ya is quite another.

Nope you have to carry your own baggage. Asking someone else to do it is just plain rude....

To me the term baggage, has to do with negitive experiences. While people tend to learn thigs best the hard way, some of us allow our most troublesome relationships from our pasts to affect, and in some cases do severe damage to our current relationships.

Well this thread is about positive baggage...
All life experience is not negative....

Here's the definition of Emotional Baggage:

~past experiences or long-held ideas regarded as burdens and impediments.

Now my question is, why would you consider positive experiences a burden or impediment to your life???

Like Einstein would say ...

It is all a sandwich, time folded on itself ...

... Every moment is simultaneous ...

Different parts of the same bite ...

If you don't like what is being said in this thread, why post any comments at all?

Life experience are a part of anyone's baggage, I could care less what a definition says!

Ah well... I may have posted to give meaning to the word baggage, after all that's what this thread is called. Yes life experiences are part of anyones baggage, but the bad ones not the good ones! I didn't know I wasn't allowed to post unless I was agreeing with you, I'll keep that in mind in any future threads you make. flowerforyou

Don't need you to agree with me, but your post show that you didn't read the beginning of the thread...

I said that baggage has gotten a bad rep, and it can contain a lot of good things, but most folks dwell on the bad......

it can be good(kid's(who cares)) and it can be bad(emotional scarring that hasn't healed) depends on the person

No matter what the baggage is, and I NEVER consider children baggage. It's all in how we deal with it...........

noway My son's are not baggage...
