When it comes to meeting someone, what is the secret of making a connection? Put your self out there but leave them wanting more. Act interested then aloof. Be your self but down play your quirks. Let them get to know you but don't come on to strong. Does anyone have the answer to how to use this (to me) contradicting advice? Cause I don't. Apparently it's a fine line that I keep falling off of.

I am who I am. I don't know how to be any thing different. I had this conversation with a friend. It wasn't til later that I realized his advice didn't make sense. Just wondering if any one understood it.

Yeah I hope so. Every now and then I get a little discouraged. When I meet someone I always get put in the "friend" zone. Gets annoying after awhile.

It can be annoying I guess when you are put in the friend zone. But that shouldn't be any reason to be somebody you are not. Just keep your heart open and at the time you least expect it, your knight in shining armour will come crashing through your door (maybe not literally, as you may feel inclined to want to call the police or something ;-) |

As far as secret of making that connection if it is there it will happen. No secret no magic potion no wand to wave it is just a chemistry between two people that seems to ignite when you meet that certain person...................
