Now I personally can not wait for this to come out as I have seen and own both Predator films as well as the AvP range. From what I have seen from the trailer it looks to be an amazing movie. I have heard rumours that people think this is a re-make of the original with Arnold Schwartzenegger, but this is not the case.

What are you views, opinions etc. ?

After how they butchered the AvP storylines, I hold no hope for this one either, though I will undoubtedly watch it because of my fandom. heh.

I've lost interest in the Predator franchise after the awful Alien VS Predator- if only they would have gone by the original comic book.

already saw a behind the scenes look a while ago,its suppose to close almost like the first one,and the predator looks different and theres suppose to be some sort of dog predator in it as well.One side of my wants to see it, but the other side says ignore it...

If you'd read the comics (which they snipped the poor excuse for their story out of), then you would understand.

Honestly, the worst thing I can remember from the films is the extremely fast gestation times for the aliens. I didn't begrudge much on the predator side, though there was still a lot of cheese throughout. Then again, the entirety of the backstory is based on cheese (though the comics took a serious route to it).

If I want aliens, I'd rather just watch the films, Alien or Aliens (or, the upcoming return of Ridley Scott in the form of a prequel to the entire series, link below). If I want Predator, the comics are the way to go.

You're missing out on some great reads- more and more comics are aimed for adults, and they are far more entertaining than the majority of crap Hollywood is slinging at the screens. The Walking Dead comic book series is as good or better than most zombie films.

Unless you were referring to comics and graphic novels in general- I'm referring to both- some I'm probably calling graphic novels that are comics, and vice versa.

Adrien Brody is the lead in this correct?

Adrien Brody is in this film but Im not sure if he is a lead. I have mixed emotions on this release. I loved the original but wasn't an AVP fan.

I was under the impression that Brody was the lead. I mean, yeah, I guess it is cool to have an Oscar winner in your film. But....ummmmm....does Brody really scream "action hero"?

Brody is the lead but I have to agree with Goofball73 - he doesn't even look like your typical action hero type?! He certainly doesn't even come close to Arnold or Danny Glover who played the first two heroes!
