...should be left in the past, really. Why on earth do people pine over their exes? Or always feel the need to bring them up or discuss them? I can't speak for other women/men out there, but to ME, it's a turn off. Not only does it demonstrate emotional instability, but it also makes the person come off as having a low self esteem. I can understand wearing your heart on your sleeve, but c'mon now, falling for everyone you meet? So next time you meet someone, maybe try stearing clear of all the ex talk, you may actually get somewhere! Can't bring in the new, when you've never outed the old. Having an OPEN heart & open mind is the way to go! :)

Also I'm bummed because I thought this thread was going to be about the X-files and not wiener wranglers crying over their ex's.

some just haven't moved on I guess. A lot think they are over the ex, but they aren't.

I don't mind hearing about the ex once in a while but not all the time.

Totally agree with you. Of course the reason people bring up ex's isn't always because they aren't over them, but because they became such an entrenched part of their heart, they've now become part of who they ARE. shocked

Guilty as charged. But, in my defense, it was rather nice to be with someone who actually knew which end of the spoon was supposed to go in her mouth.

Because alot of people hold onto the past and have a had time letting go of someone they might have loved.
