Think love is something made and found on the way. People doin' it the other way round are jumpin' the gun. Seen it a lot.

Yeah I had a guy write yesterday and then tell me today he's in love. Whoa Nelly! I don't think so! This so ruins the thought of love for me.

I've seen a lot of 2-week dating and spur-of-the-moment marriages. Things aren't always picture perfect. My mother met my step dad..dated for 3 months and got married. Been married for 37 years now..perfect together. Rare I'm sure..

I think some of it has to do with the times. My parents dated for 2 months and were married at 6 months. 37 yrs later... My grandmother and granddad met on a ship, got married within a month and were together 50 or so years. But divorce was very taboo for them and they had to work it out. Even if it wasn't love, it was respect and time spent together, kids etc.

Well, that's alright, I guess I can't fault a person for that. However, I know myself well enough to know that I wear the old heart on the sleeve. If I'm asking someone out, I'm doing it with plans for the long haul. Why not? Guarding my heart did me absolutely no good for the time I did it, and the feeling of a broken heart is better than an empty one. Truth is, I feel sorry for those that don't love strangers. It's like leaving part of your soul in a closet. JMHO

I love strangers with a different type of love a love of caring-kindness-hold my hand type of love it's the type who declare their love is undying. ESP here on a dating site- before they even meet you. At first, when all this was new to me, i got caught up in it, not realizing, ya know this is a little crazy. I even had a man, before he ever met me in person, tell me he loved me more than he ever did his wife!!!! Weird! Otherwise I love people!! Lol

Eh Sometimes it can happen. Rarely but it can. Because its what is said and felt that really is what love is about. Not so much what is seen.
