I know this might sound like a crazy topic but i'm sure i'm not the only one who's breaking up with someone on here brokenheart ok, here's my story I've never met them but it was getting to that. I've talked to a couple of interesting females on here and at the beginning things were going fine like with the phone calls and texting back to back then later on it stopped all for a sudden, i'm a understanding person but these females seem to be on this site for games and i'm not in for that. I am not a player, I'm a bachelor so there's no ring on my finger being claimed yet, therefor i have the right to talk to as many girls as I like. I'm not perfect neither are they're saints. all I'm saying is at least be real and tell someone why or that you're no longer interested instead of misleading them or ignoring a human being. the funny part is that they both said the same stupid thing "this seems to good to be true" no it's just that i'm too good for them. anyone with stories pitchfork

Seems to me like you were playing as many "angles" as you could and then you expect them to be into "just you"... What's good for the goose..

Ps- breaking up only happens when you're actually dating someone... Just sayin'....

Nothing so dramatic.

I have talked to a few on here and it wasn't going to be romance, we both realized it and we are friends now.

First off I want to say that I think it's wrong for you to invite anyone to mention someone's name in a negetive light. Personal stories can be told without degrading anybody.

if i were you... just ignore... move on there's a lot of fish in the pond. you can sill find one who will be for real. Not all people are the same. so learn from your lesson. I guess there are still people who are for real. Smile... think positive...glasses flowerforyou

How can you be going through a "break up" if you never met the person? A break up would imply you are a committed couple and I can't imagine a commitment without meeting.

So you never met them? They just stopped talking to you all of a sudden? That happens all the time online. It's nothing personal.

You are being really defensive for someone who posed a question on a public internet discussion board. There are no restrictions as to who can reply as we are all members in good standing.

You asked; therefore, you should be prepared for answers even if you don't like what you hear.

From what I have read, no one was rude or condescending towards you.

Open your mind and absorb what is being offered. It may help you in learning a lesson for the future. winking

How can you break up with someone you have never met? I understand that you may have talked to them for hours on end and maybe even made plans to meet up with them but I wouldn't consider that dating. IMO that sounds more like a friendship to me.

You say that you can talk to as many girls as you like.....I agree, however if you are seriously talking to a woman with hopes of meeting up with her and dating her, then why would you want to talk to other women unless they are just your friends?

ummm yeah, you asked when you posted. maybe it's just me, but i didn't see where you said please only respond if you will side with me.... then you invited this when you didn't agree with a response you got.

I agree I'ts nothing new for you to be talking to someone and all of a sudden they stop talking to you.
And if you dont want to hear what people have to say then don't post it in an open forum. It's as simple as that!

drinks I prefer to be called a woman than a female, because 'women' or 'men' represent 'human nature'. Animals can be also divided into female or male. Cheers!drinks

"Breaking up" with someone insinuates that you were a couple yet you say that you never met only that things were getting to that. That means you were friends with them, not a couple....even with the calls and texting you were just friends.

"You are not a player" and "have no ring on your finger" so only you can talk to as many women as you like? Maybe they had the same way of thinking and found someone better to talk to....

"the funny part is that they both said the same stupid thing "this seems to good to be true" does not match up with the sentence before it "all I'm saying is at least be real and tell someone why or that you're no longer interested instead of misleading them or ignoring a human being." Sounds to me like you were probably looking for a little 'sumtin, sumtin' from both and they figured you out and you don't like that.

Lastly....this is an open forum for everyone with opinions allowed to come post on as long as it isn't a personal attack. Whether they agree with you or not.

I agree! drinker

"Female" is very slang and derogatory. "Ladies", "women", and even "girls" are more respectful terms when referring to a human being.
