I have met a couple of guys, Im new here but just started back dating after ten year marriage. So far both the guys I have met on a serious level were very cool. Although we have never met we are close as friends. Hopefully one of them will pan out into something more. It feels awkward that these guys dont want to meet up in person. I would like to say they are intimidated by me but I just dont know what the case is. I have tried hard to keep things local so that if something did happen it would be something tangible. Maybe I am too anxious. One guy i am almost sure is married or for whatever reason is being ultra cool and leading me on but when it comes down to actually showing up for something he flakes out. They continue to text me though as though they are still interested. I am so confused. I am nervous too just trying to put myself out there and see what happens. It's tough. Then of course I have met more than a handful of guys who plain just want to have internet sex and that is NOT what I am looking for.

well... I would say to you, just be straight forward. If you want to meet up with these guys, then just tell them that. Let them know you want to meet in person, and ask them straigh up if they will do that, and if so, when and where? If they keep putting you off, or "flaking out", then in MY opinion... there is something up, and I would just move on, and not let it get you all confused and flustered.
Besides..... now would a guy REALLY just play games?? naaaaaa hahahah. |

Welcome to cyberspace Darls. You need to be careful out there. There are lots of baaad guys, luckily there are good guys too. You have just gotten out of a long term relationship, make sure you give yourself time to heal and adjust to your new life. In the meantime be a smart chick in cyberspace. yay these arent just strange guys though, well ok ok i assume the one is married, becuase he claims he really likes me but the asking me out and flaking makes me tend to think his wife is around, he seems to disappear at the most in-opportune times. Well I am not in a rush but i am into meeting new people mostly in my area. Which I am finding out is impossible. Mostly guys from across the nation or out of the country, what gives.

well Oceanbluze... as you can see by my huge number of posts... I am a complete newby here! .... Actually... to this whole internet thing to be honest. I'm just gonna prob. end up using this message boards to have fun, meet some new fun people, and develop some cool freindships from all over the country:)
