I work very hard to get what I want and therefore, I very often DO get what i want. When i don't, I get annoyed! Many times I have been told I am spoiled and selfish! Yet I am one of the most giving people I know and always put others before me.

Most people work hard.. I work my azz off.. I have most of what I want, I buy it for myself and do everything for myself.. I do not get mad when I don't get what I want, I figure I need to work harder AND that some things just aren't meant to be...

hmmm. well i guess i am a spoiled brat. But what else is there in life than working and having the things in life that you want? I want my guy to stop being a jerk so he can be a good dad... i think thats my biggest problem right now, i cant make it happen like buying a house or something!

You can be a very giving person and SAY you always put others before you, but how can you do that when you are working so hard at getting what YOU want so YOU won't get annoyed? That sounds to me like you are putting your wants first, and "giving" from what is leftover....kinda of like "re-gifting" what you weren't happy with, that you settled for.
