I have tomorrow off! Horay!

I can spread some Christmas Jeer! But the day after...

Back to salt mine!tears

Good news for me IF AND ONLY IF nothing goes bang I should be done with this huge job December 31st. If I pull that off I will have finished a HUGE job one week ahead of expected schedule. Granted I am not the only one but I am the lead and unfortunately the only one with the necessary experience to pull off what I am doing in the organization I work for.

Next year my job description changes...

Chief Lab Engineer. For Real.

Next year I begin as a Jellyfish Farmer for real! I have to not only take care of them I have to breed them, culture live food for them, deal with water quality, and maintenance of the system. We are so close to being done. I feel like a lion chasing after an Impala. I can taste its ankles as I chase it but I know better that to get over eager and jump too soon for the kill. Oh how tasty that impala will be once I finally land it.

I can finally end the seven day work weeks for a while! Thank GOD! There is a Santa Clause or God or something. Wow, what next?

A little something under the tree?

 Oh to dream!

Actually it is a imaging thing for a business world head quarters. Jellyfish are the HOT ticket in Aquaria right now, the trend if you may...

They are HARD to support and not a beginners animal at all to take care of. You have to hatch brine shrimp and rear other types of animals as well like Copepods and Rotifers, Dynoflagellates, and other kinds of Zooplankton. Since I live near the water I should be able to rent a boat to skim for plankton as well.

They also can have very complicated and temperature sensitive life cycles.

Lets just say I am A LOT more than just some guy who scrubs out aquariums. On top of that I think I am also having to take care of their koi ponds as well. I am finishing the plumbing for those next week! They should be wet (filled with fish in them) by January 4th. Grand opening on the 6th of January!

And if I am done on my end by the 31st, EYE OF THE TIGER BABY!

I will have participated in pulling a miracle out of the collective backsides of everyone involved in the project just setting up. Best is that I designed the systems involved!

My Kung Fu is getting stronger!

...The poor fish didn't have a chance!

Sorry Charlie!

Careful.
I hear they use old Santa outfits for coral reefs.

I work for a company called Image Aquatics. The client is Sketchers. Aquariums are becoming more and more part of business imaging.

Jellyfish are the pinnacle of the hobby actually. Sea Horses and Leafy Sea Dragons are second. We had a client who bred Sea Horses successfully and was the only person I seen do it. They are VERY hard to breed in captivity.

I don't understand much of this, but sounds like congratulations are in order - should I wait until after the 31st so I don't jinx you? I've been hearing a lot about the trend in businesses - sounds like a great place to be right now!
