laugh laugh

Well its a good reason not to jump in the sack with the first guy who's chemistry matches yours anyway.

Now days, it would be a good idea to draw up a contract, go to your local clinic and get fully tested, and make sure you both take a bath and clean your private items well before engaging. laugh laugh

Would that take the romance out of it? Would that be considered obsessive compulsive?

Humans are the infinitely adapting animals.

You remember, in the dark ages you could have all your bones broken and THEN burnt alive at the stake if you had intercourse other than to make a child in Christian Europe.

You remember the Virgins' march to the capitol, the old maid's float on the Christmas parade, the Towering Volcanoes of Virile Manhood demonstrations during the Superbowl.

What's romantic and what's not is not a matter of genetic programming, or personal preference. It's what the tv tells you it is.

Now that tv is going out of fashion, due to the internet, people are a bit confused and slow on the uptake. That's why we, forum users, are all singing the bouse for not getting laid (guys) and not finding the perfect love (gals).

I'd have told them where to go, if they demanded i only made love to have a child. My body is mine. It has nothing to do with no-one. laugh. The government will ban THAT next.

I met my best friend here. He and I were two peas in a pod. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with lung cancer and died in March.
I took care of him until the end.
The point I'm trying to make here is...there are wonderful people out there that we can share a bond with, so don't give up!

I'm sorry for your loss Misty...but thinking your were the Angel in his life that he needed. flowerforyou

So, I have thrown in the towel as far as dating and relationships. I am not angry or sad as I just don't care. So I am curious if you have given up on finding someone or are you still keeping your dream alive of finding your soulmate. Enquiring minds want to know.

I'm a hopeless dreamer at heart, but reality makes me a bit of a realist. I try to find a balanced compromise between the two and be content there.

As far as dating and relationships go, I just want someone to go out with, having fun together and enjoying each others company, nothing more or less really. I'm open to a relationship and finding love but, for now I let love find me.

IDK...

Thanks, but I doubt that's going to happen. I'm content with that though, so it's all good, I guess.

I don't know if I can even find a woman who would want me.

By the way, the expression "throw in the towel" originally pertained to a boxing match. If dating is like a boxing match, then I would rather be in the audience. glasses

Actually the dating scene is worse than boxing. A whole lot less pain.

I feelt he same. I am contenet with my life and I don't need anyone to complete it for me. Glad for the friends I have though as they help keep my sanity; well what is left of it.

Yeah, I know. Once after I was burned by a woman, I joined the U.S. Navy. The Navy was safer.

My friends took my sanity, and won't give it back. That's OK though, I can always make new ones.
