I see there are a couple of places to watch movies/tv on line. Flixter and Hulu are just 2. I am tired of paying to have noise in my house, you know the tv going for company, it is an expensive date. So I am thinking of going on line for tv.

Can you suggest the best one out there that is free to join and watch? Is one better than the others? That is simple and I do not have to download a massive plug-in or other junk to my lap top. Or am I dreaming?

Thanks

Youtube might be a start although it may be in several parts.

I really like Streamtuner2. It plays selections from OldFashionedTv.org and other fine programming.

There are Freeware Applications about!Just poke around on Google, you'll find something!
Get it from some reputable provider, and make sure you scan for Spyware before installing!
Some of them come bundled with Toolbars that will install without your consent, others you can Opt Out.

Snapfiles,FileHippo,MajorGeeksor just Google FREEWARE DOWNLOADS!

movie2k.to, zmovie.tv, and veehd.com are my favorites. With Veehd just register as a free member so you "DON'T" have to download their Codec-C plug in, free members can view their movies without installing anything.

www.quicksilverscreen.ch offers free movies and tv shows. once you decide on what you want to watch, several links are offered. links don't always work, but there are usually several to try. some links only allow for 72 free minutes of viewing per day, then you either have to subscribe or wait until the following day. movies like avatar or girl with a dragon tattoo will take you two days to watch

if you've never checked it out try the internet archives they have
a lot more than just movies too...

http://www.archive.org/details/movies

here is a convenient list of some of the best of the archives
which you can get right now.

I particularly recommend Cyrano de Bergerac, The 39 Steps and
Meet John Doe
