Speaking for myself, it seems as if I just finished celebrating bringing in 2011. .. New freedom. But with this new freedom, new fears. Having been married for so long, finally becoming brave enough to address attraction to females..... Holidays seem different without commitment. Somebody, please read this and give me some feedback. Also, please give me some lingo tips. Whats a stud, do I have a label? HELP:wink: laugh laugh

Stud
basically a badass... this person is really cool. Everyone looks up to them and wants to get with them. This person can be a male or a female gay or straight. studs do not discriminate. STUDS DOMINATE

No need for labels. Just be yourself. And the holidays are fine without being in a relationship. Just surround yourself with family and friends and enjoy yourself.

Here's my advice if you're just coming out of a long term relationship, especially a marriage. Take it real S L O W. Don't be in a hurry to commit to anything. Just enjoy your new found freedom and give yourself permission to make mistakes in exploring your new self. flowerforyou

I agree, NavyGirl. That reaction was just plain rude. The OP deserves an apology. We don't need judgemental people coming to this website.

I so agree. In no way was that a right way to treat a person.
That lovely woman was asking for help. Not to be put down. Just remember. Nobody came out of thier mother knowing everything. We have to learn. And a great way to learn is to ask.
