He's going to need more than just Rumsfeld's "You Go With the Army You Have" to fight wars on two MORE fronts.

Oh wait, you think he'll just pop in a couple of nukes and that will be the end of that? Have you thought about how Russia and China might take having radioactive fallout coming down in their sovereign territory?

Oh right-- you'll nuke them, too.

And the kids of the 22nd century will still be paying for the war debt because of COURSE he'll cut taxes while doing all this.

Well, how about we ask someone who had something like that happen to them like say, Sweden, Finland, and Most of the Northern Half of Europe. Remember when Chernobyl went bang and Russia was told about it by several nations including us and WE sent them satellite Photos of what was going on!

My money would be China and Russia would sit back and make a lot of noise and there would be diplomacy for all BUT Russia and China are not going to stick their necks out for Iran. Sorry! They will posture but that is it. Russia has not got the money and India and China do not have the best of relations going on either. China is also financially extended pretty good. Enough they ride a precarious edge. They will not nuke anyone unless they themselves are nuked. Treaty or not.

Also you are taking my sarcastic reflections of the past elections and real fears of what these men could have done or have done or have not done. Obama came off as a hero and turned out to be a zero. McCain was no hero politically. Being a POW does not make a hero either. McCain could very well have gotten us into a hell of a lot more wars. Obama did indeed turn out to be a black clone of Bush!

Conservative??? Centrist Moderate thank you. Iran does need to get bitchhe slapped hard. But with Regime change in N Korea there is a chance we may see a dawn of new relations with them. Then again his kid could live up to his dad's crap and if so we may need to beef up our presence there and step pressure up on China to get them to play their part in peace or prepare to watch Korea get bloody again. It sucks but wars end two ways, one side says uncle or one side gets smashed. The biggest flaw in MAD is that someone WILL survive and change is inevitable so no matter what you may destroy civilization but life will still go on no matter what some how. So far we have been winning the war in that we have not destroyed ourselves yet. But Korea will not change unless the leadership does. S Korea is democratic. N Korea isn't. If the N Korean people want freedom so badly why can't they get it for themselves?

Well, here is my take on this, might does indeed make right! That is a fact of life and that transcends more morality. Knowing that means for us to be a free people we need to project enough might to show we can harm dictators and enemies of our freedom. That too sucks but we as a nation have been sucked into the role of World Police by the UN (A.K.A. League of Nations) since WWI.

So does standing on party lines help effect change???

He wont, unfortunately it will be Mitt Romney which will hand Obama another term on a silver platter.

I sure hope he isn't-- he's reckless, Machiavellian and completely out-of-touch from his perch in the Conservative Ivory Towers. But seeing as all the other Far Right extremists have self-destructed trying to ride the centrist rapids, he at least temporarily is in the lead in many of the polls. He very well could tap the same Southern Strategy as Nixon did and surprise everyone. Stranger things have happened in American politics.
