what we celebrate on July 4th. We used to be free... and I know all you "Obamalites" (people who make light on Obama's actions) will disagree, but when you think about it, it's the truth no matter how you try to spin it.

Welfare addicts aren't free. They are dependent on their drug and can't survive without it. Happy Independence Day to those who aren't Tax Payer dependents. I'll pray for a cure for those who aren't adult enough to get off the chi-chi.

I collect SS, which I paid into all my life. Now I'm dependent on taxpayers, only because Congress spent all the SS funds. Now that SS has to be funded, instead of running a surplus, it is "all of a sudden" in trouble? Hmph.

The larger govt becomes, the more freedoms and liberties are lost! if government is of , by, and for people wouldnt an increase in people DICTATE an increase in government...? how does that cost freedoms and liberties? IF I have a household with two people, we probably can set a mutual standard of living that we both agree to in terms of boundaries and rules in the home if I have a household with TWENTY people, we probably have to have a few more rules and boundaries to accomodate the growth... wouldnt ya think?

Easy...they pass more regulations! And even now, Holder is refusing to turn over lawfully subpoened (sp) documents on fast and furious. EDIT: Forgot to add they think they are above reproach by our duly elected representatives!

The constitution does not "give" us or the govt freedom or liberty... it GUARANTEES it to the people as our "God given rights" are unalienable! The govt does NOT have to be big to do their job because their job is a simple one...protect liberty, and serve the people, defend our country and it's borders! NOTHING MORE!

The govt does NOT have to be big to do their job because their job is a simple one...protect liberty, and serve the people, defend our country and it's borders! NOTHING MORE! hmm,, sure seems like the constitution had ALOT more words than the government shall protect liberty, serve the people, and defend our country! and wouldnt such a short constitution be open to all types of interpretations into what constitutes 'liberty' or 'service' or 'defense'?
