When I go to back-up my files. after it is done, I get the message,back-up is done but some files were skipped. What does this mean, they don't tell me what was skipped.

Not to sound rude or anything but what's to explain? Some files were skipped, either they were unchanged and didn't need to be backed up or couldn't be backed up for some reason.

Could be in use files, system protected files, or simply negligent files in the first place...Unless you know they were important files, I wouldn't worry about it, more than likely just redundancy.

I wouldn't worry about it. You keep your system clean and update right?

That's good. Your computer hasn't been acting weird or anything has it? Any strange noises? If it's been acting normal and no strange noises, you should be fine.

it depends on the operating system. the archive attributes and the last modified attribute plus another 1 have to do with what files are backed up into the back up procedure. right click on the file to go to properties and then left click on it and It should bring up the menu the show you those attributes. if the file has been modified since last time that you did a backup on your computer it will save it if not. the archive I attribute will ensure that your file get saved every time you do a backup. I'm not super familiar with this but I'm pretty sure it's something like that.
