I wish mingle would let you filter out all the profiles that say seen over a month ago becuz there are millions of them taking up space

I SO AGREE! I agree on so many levels to this. Most of them are a waste of time just to look at.

This would be a great idea. So many start a profile with the basics, or sometimes not evan that! They are looking for one night stands etc. Or they fill it in for a laugh. I would say less than 10% on mingle are looking for genuine long term friendship or relationship, so come on mingle let us filter out all the people who haven't been on the site for over a month. Better still, unless people can take the time to input a basic profile they should not be allowed to register or all profiles that have not been visited in say 12 months should automatically be deleted!!

Just my opinion

Many inactive have been inactive for years. I found some that were inactive for over 4 years. I think they don't want to purge these because it would show how very few people are really still on and active.

I think if this is true, its ill thought out. Many come, get discouraged and leave because of all the traffic they have to wade through to find active people. I think more would stay if it was easier than those who would leave because of low volume.

Thats the business evaluation part of my brain going off. But its worth a thought mods as you read this.

One month is not really a good indicator of a member's current interest in finding a partner, over three months is more realistic. I don't think members should be automatically deleted, it should be for them to decide whether they want to maintain their membership or cancel it.
