My understanding is that it was on approach and veered off. But I'm sure your over active imagination will refuse to let you believe that. As far as your concerned, the flight made a bee-line for the pentagon...but I understand why, because the conspiracy theory loses impact if the government wasn't behind everything. And since you like those annoying emoticons so much laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh .......slaphead

It took off at 8:20 AM, ten minutes after its scheduled departure time. At 8:46 the plane veered severely off course, a deviation indicated in a USATODAY.com graphic as semicircular loop to the north, ten miles in radius. Reports indicate communications from the pilots at 8:50, four minutes after the reported deviation. According to the Boston Globe, the transponder was shut off at 8:56, after which the plane reversed direction and began flying back toward the capital. With its transponder off, air traffic controllers and NORAD were still able to track the jet using radar.

What am I assuming? You are either skeptical of the official report pandered to the public via the media; or why would you be a member of the "Skeptics" who have access to a vast "library of material on the subject?"

You don't know much about the Skeptics, then?

This group of skeptics you speak of is either a genuine group of skeptics who are looking at the official 9-11 account with skeptical eyes and looking for the truth, (truthers) OR they are a group of apologists who have accepted and defend the official version of 9-11 and are busy attempting to debunk anything else.

I see, you don't have a clue then? Ok.

The definition of "truther" is a person who is seeking the truth about 9-11. So you are either a "truther" seeking the truth, or you have accepted the official version of 9-11 as the truth.

The skeptics prefer the term 'falsifiers' as opposed to 'Twoofer', for 'twoofers' promulgate lies and disinformation.

I possess the ability to discern 'woo' from reality, which no doubt can be attributed to my education.

If you truly do possess the ability to discern 'woo' (what ever that is) from reality, due to your vast education, then I eagerly await your conclusion.

I defined 'woo' above. It is that which is specious. Why do 'twoofers' have such poor comprehension?

If you are not sure, and are still trying to discern what the truth is, then you are a "truther."

You are a truther.

Please, there is no need for insults. That claim is absurd as 'twoofers' are individuals who lack basic lateral thinking skills, and the ability to apply logic, and that is clearly not the case.

I suggest you watch the reconstruction in the link above for a full appreciation of the flight. You can forward through it if it gets tedious. This reconstruction was made by pilots and ATC's who analysed the transcripts and recordings.

But, please, don't be too distracted by that. What does the flight path mean to you? How do you 'interpret' this?

Furthermore, as a little exercise, I ask you, who is going to give an order to shoot down a hijacked plane full of innocents, when the destination is an unknown?

huh

I know an answer won't be forthcoming. happy

I think a better definition of a truther would be someone who wouldn't know the truth if it hit them in the head. What really amazes me in many of these endless discussions is the fact that the truthers try so hard to remove actual knowledge from the equation. I know why the steel and concrete failed in the two towers because I know the yield points, loads, stresses, failure modes, direction gravity acts, etc., but the truthers act as if no one is in possession of such knowledge. Since real knowledge does not exist, opinion can be substituted equally. Hence, we have concepts like dustification, nano thermite, alien ray guns, and other trash that the truthers struggle mightily to hoist to a level of equal credibility over simple math and physics.

To be clear, a conspiracy theorist is a conspiracy theorist. A truther is a person who does not completely buy into the official 9-11 story, and is looking or "keeping an open mind" for the truth.

That is precisely the reason they always ask a conspiracy theorist to show them proof. They are truthers. They want the truth.

If you are not a truther or a conspiracy theorist, then you should feel proud and confident enough to admit that you believe completely in the entire government's official account of 9-11.

If I call you a "truther" that is the highest possible compliment you will get, so take it as a compliment coming from me.

The reason you continue to insult people and call them "twoofers" is because you are confusing them with disinformation agents and wacky conspiracy theorists. There are some good and qualified conspiracy theorists and there are some disinformation agents that are there just to confuse the people.

Those who are responsible for 9-11 (The Nazi Bankster terrorist Cabal) do not want 'truthers' to continue to doubt their ridiculous lies and cover ups.

Paxil Sales To 9/11 Truthers Jumps Threefold After Bill Maher Recommendation

9/11 Truthers praise Maher for "giving us the right drug for 9/11 Truth." Lines form at Ground Zero area drugstores.

(BNN - September 15, 2007 - New York City.)

Bill Maher's announcement last night that 9/11 Truthers should "...start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you," caused a sensation at New York City hospitals late last night and early this morning.

"Suddenly, our ER started filling up with young, bedraggled twenty-somethings, all begging for prescriptions for Paxil," said, John Berliner, spokesperson for Bellevue Hospital. "They said it was unfair to keep them waiting for the "truth" till Monday when their own doctors' offices re-open - whatever the hell that means. We filled their prescriptions just to get rid of them."

In his "New Rules" section Maher said:

New Rule: Crazy people who still think the government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion have to stop pretending that I'm the one that's being naïve. How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV igniting a massive inferno that burned for two hours and then think, "Well, if you believe that was the cause?" Stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on this show and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you.

Nico Haupt, spokesperson for the growing "no planer" faction of the 9/11 Truth Movement, said this was the sign he was waiting for. "Ve know dat drugs will show us die 9/11 truth. Ve just didn't know VICH drugs."

According to medical literature, Paxil is effective in relieving anxiety and symptoms associated with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, long considered by psychologists to be the foundation of the 9/11 Truth Movement and other societal disorders.

Ask to comment on the long line of 9/11 Truthers at his door, New York City pharmacist, Dirk Veersten, said, "Heh... whatever works to get them off the streets."

I think a better definition of a a person who defends and believes the official propaganda about 9-11 would be someone who wouldn't know the truth if it hit them in the head.

What really amazes me in many of these endless discussions is the fact that they try so hard to ridicule and attack the credibility of others and ignore evidence and actual facts from the equation.

I know why the steel and concrete failed in the two towers because I know the yield points, loads, stresses, failure modes, direction gravity acts, etc., but the truthers act as if no one is in possession of such knowledge.

You think you know.

Since real knowledge does not exist, opinion can be substituted equally. Hence, we have concepts like dustification, nano thermite, alien ray guns, and other trash that the truthers struggle mightily to hoist to a level of equal credibility over simple math and physics.

You are only focused on what you think you know about how the twin towers may have been taken down by two planes. This knowledge comes to you by way of a simulated computer program that was created for this very purpose and millions of dollars was spend creating this program. They did everything humanly possible to feed this program the exact information it needed to come up with a convincing solution, including feeding it information that was not confirmed but ASSUMED.

They started with the outcome they WANTED TO HEAR and they injected every assumed (not confirmed) fact they needed into that program in order to arrive at that outcome.

Its just like people who want to prove something on Mingle. They just go to google or www.iamright.com and find information that supports their beliefs.

Okay, you think you know how the towers fell without explosives and you believe that hijackers flew planes into the towers. Your only rationalization for the reason so many people don't believe that is that they are ignorant and that they don't have your education. You are the smartest person on the planet and the most qualified to know.

But there are a vast number of scientists and engineers who disagree with you. Every time any of them are mentioned, you attack their credibility. The numbers are growing. I think you are too proud to go back over the facts and admit that the facts in this case could have been fabricated in order to arrive at the desired outcome.

IF we 'truthers' are right, and 9-11 was a shadow government sponsored terrorist black flag, (and we know they have done these things) then why on earth would ANYONE look to them as an authority figure in solving the crime? It is like a police chief who has committed murder, investigating it himself.
