Losing Time

It wasn’t so much
as losing my hair
that bothered me the most
sadly
that was kind of expected
the loss of energy had been explained as well
as was the limited appetite

No, none of these things
really bothered me
honestly,
the idea of how beautiful
life really was
and what it meant
didn’t leave an impact on me either
dying has that kind of effect
where nothing matters
outside of the imagination’s surreal tranquility
disturbing yet serene
bizarre yet somehow peaceful
living
and yet quietly dying

Sitting in that chair
while chemical
after dreadful chemical
is pumped into my veins;
while excruciating pain
travels the course of my soul;
while I’m lying there helpless
waiting
to either survive another day
or die even slower than what’s fair
I realize
that there is a certain emptiness within the bitterness
of losing time

Yes... and it can be seen in the eyes.. and heard in the cries.. this is a beautiful portrayal of the saddest walk on earth.. as it hurts.. and then it's over.. flowerforyou:heart::heart:flowerforyou

Truely
when death comes
nothing really matters
then the word "vanity" makes meaning
the endless search for wealth
for love
for beauty
it all ends
then what's the essence?
It's just a punishment we serve
Till we pass.

Nice one. Reminded me that I just made a step to my grave when I woke up this morning
