Hi friends, saw my opthamologist yesterday, it's confirmed, I am legally blind in both eyes. The good news is we're going to schedule my right eye cataract surgery asap. My pre-op consultation is June 11th. My vitrectomy surgery for my left eye will be scheduled shortly after my cataract surgery. It's an exciting time. I can't wait to get these surgeries done and get them over with. The sooner I get them done, the sooner I begin the process of healing. Thanks for the support. i told you it was going to be okay. |

I just found out my pre-op consultation appointment for my cataract surgery was cancelled. I can't see someone until August 6th. So frustrating. All I want is to get better. All I want is to see again.

Oh man topher that sux. They are having problems scheduling my pre-op check out too! We just have to hold our breath and be patient my friend, as difficult as that is.
